European Flame Research Initiative

EFRI grew out of the search for a new home for the IFRF which identified at least nine European organisations interested in offering a networked combustion research resource with the IFRF. During and after a workshop which took place at the IFRF’s June 2007 International Conference in Pisa , a total of 33 combustion laboratories were identified that wished to work with the IFRF to identify options for working together and sharing facilities and expertise for mutual benefit.
